Join us for the next Venture Cafe just after Cambridge Tech Week where we'll be exploring the use of AI within the Health Industries. More details to come soon!
Throughout the evening we'll have interactive showcases where attendees can directly interact with members from the teams pioneering AI-driven innovation in the current health ecosystem.
🎧 Auryx develops AI that uses sound to unlock new ways of monitoring human health, transforming everyday earbuds into continuous health monitors using their existing microphones.
⚡ Polytecks develops wearable bioelectrical interfaces that bring high-resolution mapping to the skin's electrical signals, revealing a class of biomarker never before accessible at scale.
🧠 NeuroPath Biosciences is building the first objective biological signal for self-harm risk detection, combining metabolomic biomarkers with validated behavioural data to enable earlier intervention at GP level.
🧬 Congenica is a clinical genomics company helping laboratories turn sequencing data into clinical answers, now used by over 190 labs in more than 35 countries worldwide.
There will be meaningful networking opportunities throughout the night, accompanied by a selection of refreshments and activities.
Step away from the screen and get creative with chocolate.
In this hands-on workshop, Sweetie Factory will introduce you to the colourful world of chocolate decoration. You'll discover how chocolatiers use coloured cocoa butters to transform chocolate before creating your own completely individual chocolate bar.
No artistic experience is needed, the workshop is designed to be relaxed, creative and sociable, with plenty of opportunity to experiment and create something that's entirely your own.
Along the way, you'll also discover a little about chocolate, cocoa butter and some of the techniques used by professional chocolatiers.
Your finished chocolate creation will be beautifully boxed for you to take home, although how long it lasts after that is entirely up to you.
Join us for welcome remarks from Venture Café's team, Innovate Cambridge & Cambridge University Health Partners.
Discover how Cambridge is bringing together leading organisations to form ClinSilico, a new consortium focused on developing new AI tools to make clinical trials quicker, cheaper and more successful. Hear what ClinSilico aims to build, and what action is needed to unlock investment and accelerate delivery at scale.
The panel will explore why Cambridge is uniquely positioned to become a global leader in AI-driven healthcare innovation, and why that matters not just for patient outcomes, but for the future of the NHS and wider healthcare economy.
The discussion will explore trust and data, from data ownership and access to high-quality datasets, to data sharing between organisations and maintaining public trust alongside how Cambridge's combination of world-leading research, entrepreneurial talent, investment networks and industry partnerships provides a powerful platform for turning breakthrough science into real clinical impact.
